Joshua Michna

Location: Lubbock, TX

Favorite Wildlife: Mule Deer

Off the Clock: Tending to animals, working on engines, and hunting in the fall.

Based in Lubbock, Joshua works with farmers and ranchers to turn underperforming acres into profitable, sustainable land through crop rotation, native grass restoration, grazing management, and profit-and-loss analysis. He recently enjoyed helping a group of young farmers diversify beyond cotton production into cattle and hay markets, making better use of their land while lowering input risks. Joshua firmly believes agricultural profitability and wildlife conservation go hand in hand—transitioning marginal cropland into permanent grasses reduces soil erosion and creates wildlife habitat while boosting farm margins. Best of all, he wants producers to know that technical advisory resources like his are completely free.
