Conservation Advocacy

Does a policy conserve habitat and create opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts? If so, it will be a priority for our dedicated Government Affairs team.

State Priorities

While federal advocacy remains heavily focused on the Farm Bill draft and passage, the team has also successfully secured critical funding for key conservation initiatives:

  • VPA-HIP (Voluntary Public Access and Habitat Incentive Program)

  • Texas Farm & Ranch Land Conservation Program

  • Southern Plains Grasslands

  • Wetlands Conservation and Access Improvement Act

In addition, the team is actively constructing a regional affairs team to work even more closely with state capitals and elevate local policy impact.
